Debt is Stupid is a proactive group of volunteers who are sick of the economic landscape (or should be say lack of one) and how the people in positions of power and influence seem to be doing less than nothing to help their fellow brothers in need.

We’re not talking about welfare.  Far from it.  We’re talking about sharing true knowledge and skills that allow one with determination and some effort on their part, to turn their lives around financially and navigate this environment successfully.

That’s where we [hope to] come in.

DiS is about leaving the moronic thought processes of spending yourself into the grave behind.  yes we all made some mistakes, some more than others.  Yet the point here is to change habits, change the course that dug the hole in the first place.  We are advocates for anyone who helps get people out of debt and into a position of financial security.
